The Reminder Publications The Reminder Publications East Longmeadow, MA East Longmeadow, MA Full-time Full-time $16 an hour $16 an hour Reminder Publishing is seeking a full time, 40 hour a week reporter to write for various publications, including the Monson/Palmer Reminder which covers the communities of Monson, Palmer, Ware, Warren, Hardwick, Holland, Wales and Brimfield.
This is a weekly publication.
This position involves covering a range of topics including feature stories (new businesses, interesting people, events, etc.
) as well as covering town meetings (town council, select board, planning board, etc.
) Strong applicants should have journalism experience, solid communication skills, enjoy a collaborative, team environment and be able to meet deadlines on a weekly basis.
Photography experience is a plus.
The position does require attendance at our East Longmeadow office each day during the training period, and then employees are welcome to enjoy a hybrid schedule, maintaining attendance at the office at least two to three days a week.
The position offers a flex schedule as it involves night work as well as occasional weekend event coverage.
Candidates must live within an hour of the community they are covering.
Job requirements also include:
Proven ability to report, write clean copy using AP Style; Solid understanding of news writing, journalistic standards and story structure; Results driven, with experience in a deadline-oriented environment; B.
A.
degree or equivalent experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
