The basis of the achievement is an employee survey, because who better to judge an organization's health than the employees?Our company is looking for a Boiler Service Technician to be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding and brazing and mechanical layouts.
In addition, the Boiler Technician is responsible for projects that have the following criteria:
BOILER SERVICE TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS &
Responsibilities:
Responsible for servicing heating equipment for clients and assigned projects; ensuring customer satisfaction.
Performs repairs, tune ups, combustion analysis, overhauls, and start-ups of steam, water boilers, pumps and ancillary equipment.
Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer's location.
Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.
Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
Represents company by serving as a direct customer contact.
Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.
Keeps current all manufacturers products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
Provides technical support to customers.
Regular travel requirements with occasional overnight travel.
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
Be knowledgeable with the products and services offered by LMS and become effective in the sales of those products and services.
Maintain and submit time recap sheets and service reports for accurate time accounting using proper labor codes to assist in labor utilization and manpower planning.
