Job DescriptionThe Senior Accountant Contractor provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries and reconciliations by compiling and analyzing account information.
Responsibilities:
Daily and monthly cash reconciliations and journal entriesASC 842 projects (lease accounting)Maintaining all systems and responsibilities related to capital equipment including FAS, UCC filings and spreadsheet and Trello boardPrepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax returnsAssist with miscellaneous state filings, research, and phone callsMaintain monthly journal entriesMonthly account reconciliations and miscellaneous reportsAssist with other projects as neededRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceAt least 5
years experience preferredOrganization and attention to detailProactive, driven, and self-disciplinedTime management skills, with the ability to prioritize workProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteSage MAS 500RemoteAbout the Company:
