Our Supervisors on 2nd shift oversee the smooth running of our large, high volume manufacturing assembly line in a collaborative, Union environment. This position is on 2nd shift with scheduled work days of Monday - Friday from 2:00 p. m. 11:30 p. m.

In this highly interactive role, your responsibilities will include

  • Leading the 2nd shift Union employees to full productivity in a safe manner, using standard work to ensure high quality work that meets customer expectations every day
  • Maintaining proper staffing levels on a daily basis to ensure the production schedule is met to meet customer requirements
  • Maintaining and overseeing the accuracy of inventory, including performing daily cycle counts
  • Selecting, orienting and training employees to encourage professional growth that supports the team s overall success
  • Communicating job expectations, monitoring progress and providing feedback on performance
  • Ensuring conformance to all company safety standards with respect to people, property and equipment
  • Ensuring equipment is operating at peak performance by enforcing operating instructions, timely troubleshooting breakdowns and managing preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Supporting all company objectives initiatives and Continuous Improvement activities, including offering ideas for improvement
  • Taking pride in our workspace by treating all equipment with respect and maintaining housekeeping as required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
